We facilitate the shift from aid dependency to independent communities.
We leverage revenues from community-run farms to improve education and health outcomes in farming communities. And without long-term reliance on external aid.

Our
Vision
To create a world where a child’s birth to rural farmers doesn’t stop them from fulfilling their fullest potential for our world’s greater good.
Our
Mission
To put cocoa farmers and their families in the driver’s seat to transform their children’s education and health from within, harvest after harvest.
Our Story
Cocoa360 was founded in 2015 by Dr. Shadrack Frimpong, a rural Ghanaian cocoa farmer’s son whose legs were nearly amputated as a child. After seeing his family struggle for healthcare and education, he launched Cocoa360. Despite early success, progress stalled due to low community participation—development’s greatest enemy. This challenge led him to Yale and Cambridge for an MPH and a PhD, where he developed a high-participation framework, now transforming Cocoa360’s impact. His work has been published in 12+ journals and recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Muhammad Ali Award, and Queen Elizabeth II.
